Section 33

Provision for permanent tenure

(1) If the position of the Chief Justice of the High Court is vacant or if the Chief Justice is unable to perform his duties due to ill health or any other reason or if the Chief Justice is not present in the court due to being on leave or going out of Nepal, the Chief Justice shall The senior most judge of the same High Court may be appointed to act as permanent chief judge.

(2) According to sub-section (1) the judge of the high court who works as permanent chief judge shall receive the same salary as the chief judge for the duration of his tenure. And will get facilities.
